What happens if you stay loyal to ashley

The most noticeable "consequence" if Commander Shepard romances someone new is that the face of their old love interest will be turned face down. If Shepard decides to break up with their new partner, the picture will turn back up.

Additionally, in regards to Liara, if Shepard chooses to stay faithful to Liara throughout Mass Effect 2 , they'll look at Liara's picture as the Normandy goes through the Omega 4 Relay. During this DLC, if Commander Shepard romanced a new love interest, even if it was just for a one-night stand, Liara will state that she's aware of it. This provides Shepard with the opportunity to either break up with Liara or reaffirm their relationship.

Otherwise Ashley is more supported in terms of trilogy support except for ME2 having almost no content. Bisen View Profile View Posts. I never cared much for Ashley. Liara or Tali Okay I'm a xenophile. Ahsley is xenophobic. So I'm just going to go ahead and say Jack.

But that's just my opinion. Oh, he's my bud, he's my pal, he's my friend, I love him like a brother, he's my platonic friend. Men don't have platonic friends. They're wrong. This is the age of misdirection.

Trickery is what I do best. User Info: viksox As evidenced by every actor and politician, and friends and family, Humans rut like pigs. Why can't I score with Liara, Kelly, then Tali , then hit Liara up after beating the game and "reminisce"? We're human, it's in our nature. User Info: NightWatcher Jack seems to either hate you or love you depending on what you say. Wait, do you know who I am.

If so, how? If you do, can you please not tell anyone? C'mon, I said please don't tell anyone. More topics from this board Legendary edition reveals ME2 is the worst of the triology.

You also have the option of either continuing with Tali, or re-kindling your relationship with Ash. I've done romances with both never "cheating" though, always staying true to whomever it was , and I found both romances were alright, but a bit short on romance-specific content.

Oh, and for some reason Ash starts calling you "hero-man" instead of "skipper", which made me cringe a little. You don't owe her any loyalty if that's how she's going to treat your love. Considering all you've been through in ME1 I admit Ash was the best romance option in the first game but considering all you've been through together, for there to continue to be this much distrust and borderline hostility between her and Shepard is ridiculous.

Look at interactions on Horizon. She all but calls you a damn traitor; and that's after you save her life. It's not like it even gets better after that. Just my opinion I just think her romance is waaaaay too one-sided. You'd be better off with Tali who will reciprocate the love and respect. Shepard has to do a lot of sucking up to Ashley without so much as a "Thank you" for saving her life, on Horizon OR Mars, OR the Citadel not to mention that Shep also has to do that sucking up without a single apology for 2nd guessing him the whole time.

Compare this to Tali. When you met her on Freedom's Progress, she had a reasonable distrust and weariness of your new Cerberus ties, but also recognizes that after all that you did in ME1, you wouldn't be working with them without a darn good reason.

I would say choose Tali, but that's just my opinion.
